Join us for a discussion as we dive into what President Donald Trump’s first budget proposal of his second term means for schools.

The president is proposing to cut billions of dollars in federal K-12 education investments, consolidate more than a dozen grant programs into a single state allocation, and potentially rejigger special education law for the first time since the early 2000s.

At the same time, the budget proposes to maintain overall investments in Title I grants for schools and services for students with disabilities.
Education Week journalists and outside experts will break down the proposed changes and how they could affect the services schools provide.

Please bring your questions. We’ll leave time for Q&A.
